Athletics champions honored by the Minister of Youth and Sports

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Adnan Dargal, honored the players of the national athletics team, U18 category, who won multiple medals in the Asian Championship, which concluded recently in Kuwait with the participation of 30 Asian and Arab countries.

the championship witnessed a special presence of our players who won multiple medals in different categories to become the best representative of Iraq in the Asian Forum. These are:

Mustafa Mohsen Hizam: gold in 2000 m hurdles under the supervision of coach Mohsen Hizam

Zain al-Abidine Mokhlis Tome: bronze 3000 m under coach Mokhlis Tohme

Narges Hussein Abboud: bronze 800 m under coach Nouri Jakhiour.

For his part, the President of the Iraqi Athletics Federation, Dr. Taleb Faisal, thanked the initiative of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Adnan Dargal, describing the honor as an incentive for athletes to continue creativity.
