The Golden Badge for the Best Sports Administrative Leader

The Asian Federation honored Dr. Taleb Faisal Al-Saffar, the President of the Iraqi Athletics Federation, with the golden badge for being chosen as the best sports administrative leader. He has led and served athletics in Asia throughout his sports career.

This accolade was presented during the general assembly (Congress) meeting of the Asian Federation, on the sidelines of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Asian Athletics Federation, held in the Thai capital, Bangkok, on July 11, 2023.

This achievement adds to a series of accomplishments that the President of the Federation, along with the rest of his colleagues from the members of the Federation, has achieved in advancing Iraqi athletics and realizing sporting achievements with the hard work of athletes and champion trainers.

Dr. Al-Saffar had previously been honored with the same badge by the International Federation years ago.
